What it does

MarketView24Bot fetches publicly available RSS feeds and press-release pages from a fixed, hand-reviewed list of licensed and permitted sources, to build plain-language summaries for MarketView24's readers. It never scrapes full article bodies for republication — only headlines, snippets and metadata needed for attribution.

How it behaves

• It sends exactly one User-Agent — never a browser fallback, never spoofed.
• It honours a 403 or a robots.txt disallow immediately and permanently — no retries, no workarounds.
• It uses conditional GET (ETag / Last-Modified) and polls on a fixed schedule, not continuously.

To block it

Return HTTP 403 for this User-Agent, or add it to robots.txt. We will stop polling your site and will not attempt to route around the block.
